Awards and Bursaries

SSGA Outstanding Service Award

Presented to a Saskatchewan Seed Grower who has a minimum of eight years of Pedigreed Seed production, has made significant contribution to the Pedigreed Seed Industry, who is active in his or her community, and leads by example.  This award was first presented in 1969.

SSGA Honorary Life Membership

Presented to individuals who, although not seed growers, have made, or are making, outstanding contributions to SSGA and the Pedigreed Seed Industry.  This award was first presented in 1990.

SSGA Bursaries

Each year, a bursary is awarded to two (2) students who have graduated from a high school in Saskatchewan and are enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Bioresources at the University of Saskatchewan, pursuing studies in the fields of plant science, agricultural business, or agronomy.

Canadian Seed Growers’ Association
