The Saskatchewan Seed Growers’ Association is pleased to award an Honorary Life Membership to Wes Woods.
Wes Woods – a.k.a. SeCan Wes or Westco Wes – was raised, and went to high school, in Plenty SK. Wes grew up as a “town kid” but fully immersed himself in agriculture his entire life.
Wes worked the first half of his career for Westco Fertilizer, promoting direct seeding and coaching fertilizer retailers on business and marketing. Over that time, Wes honed his agronomic knowledge and completed his Certified Crop Advisor Certification. For all who worked with him throughout his career, Wes was a wealth of knowledge regarding soil fertility.
